The University of Portsmouth Fencing Club is a British Fencing Association registered club providing coaching, matches and support to members of the University of Portsmouth Student Union. We provide for all levels. For new comers to the sport we provide all the kit that is required, and for the older members we arrange local and national competitions and help arrange entry into open competitions. We have a fully qualified coach which will allow you to gain awards in the sport of fencing.

As well as the Fencing sessions we also go to the pub after every session for a few drinks and to get to know each other more. Many of the fencers become good friend outside of the club as well. We hold at least 2 socials a month, ideally we like to have a good get together every week if possible. Plus on our socials EVERYONE is welcome even if you are not part of the club.
